Our Story
Simon
We met online in January 2015 and spent a few weeks messaging and talking, trying to coordinate our first date around some very conflicting schedules. Somehow, we landed on a pretty unforgettable day—Valentine’s Day.
Before the date was officially approved, I had to pass a very thorough “interview process” with Grace’s group of friends… and thankfully, I made the cut.
We agreed to meet at Gjelina. On my way in, I noticed a very attractive woman grabbing a soda from a catering truck—but didn’t think much of it. Moments later, that same woman walked up, introduced herself as Grace, and instantly, I was pleasantly surprised—she was even more beautiful than her photos.
Lunch turned into a walk around Venice, exploring local shops and talking effortlessly… and just like that, everything began.
Fast forward to last year, on the beautiful island of Paros, I proposed and she said yes!

I had a little help from my girlfriends during the selection process and I was looking for someone who could truly hold a meaningful conversation and share the same values.
When we met at Gjelina, I was immediately drawn to Simon’s sweet smile and what a true gentleman he was. We connected right away and talked about everything, from family values to our love of travel and all the things that mattered most to me.
That day was the beginning of something really special. So when Simon proposed in Paros last year, I was completely surprised—and of course, I said yes!
